On the first appointment, the dentist will do a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and soft tissues, which will include an oral cancer screening. Additionally, x-rays are often necessary and are taken and scanned while the patient waits.
Following the conclusion of this session, you and the dentist will discuss and determine your short-term and long-term dental care needs. Appropriate sessions will be scheduled for your treatment pending approval of an itemized treatment plan including the therapy and associated fees.
