As well as providing patients with the treatment they need, the emphasis is placed on preventative care, to keep their mouth, teeth and smile healthy. As part of a routine examination, they will check not just their teeth, but also the soft tissues of the mouth, the health of their gums and the condition of the jaw joints. This ensure that any potential problems are picked up early. In addition to this, they will also take x rays, and use other tests, to check the health of their patients mouth, if necessary.
