I had a tooth pulled out here a few months ago now and I am looking to have a new appointment soon for some fillings. When I had the tooth pulled, I kindly requested for a woman doctor as it personally helps with my anxiety, which was allowed. I’m very grateful for this because without it, my anxiety levels probably would’ve been a lot higher. During the procedure, the dentist was very nice and kept telling me what was going on, how I was doing and so on. This helped with my nerves as I have a phobia of dentists and I don’t like going but I know I have to to be healthy and pain-free. Even though I experienced quite a lot of pain during the extraction even after multiple needles, that was my fault as my social anxiety is so bad, I couldn’t bring myself to raise my hand, which she told me to do if it hurt or I was uncomfortable or wanted a break, I still think it was a decent experience. The pain wasn’t too bad, it was more a ton of pressure with a slight sharp pain if i remember correctly. As someone with a lot of fear when it comes to the dentist or even the doctors, i can confidently say that I was pleased with the experience. Even though I found out the dentist was relatively new, she did an amazing job and made sure my anxiety didn’t get too bad, and for that I thank her. I believe she left not long after I had that appointment because I remember seeing if she was available to do my next procedure (a filling) and they said she was leaving a few days before my appointment was scheduled. I have been putting off going to the dentist for said filling because I personally have no pain most of the time, just a little strange feeling occasionally but I plan on coming again here soon, with the request of a female dentist again. No offense to male dentists but they do kind of make me feel sort of uneasy. Anyway, quick summary of this place, I’d say its a good dentist, one of the best ones I’ve been to with kind, patient staff. thanks for reading.
