A statement to our patients, revised on June 18, 2020
On Thursday, June 18th, the Northern Ireland Department of Health announced a crucial step towards the reintroduction of dental services. On Monday, June 29th, they will enable dental offices in Northern Ireland to transition to Phase 2 of practice recovery. This implies we will be able to provide non-urgent dental care procedures that do not create aerosols (i.e., treatments that do not produce a spray).
We have been given a list of allowed operations that may be performed as of that date. These procedures will include extractions, if feasible, the elimination of tooth decay, temporary fillings, and dentures. When assigning appointments to patients who have contacted us within the previous several months, we want to use a priority-based system. Please be patient while we put together the necessary preparations.
In the meanwhile, if you are experiencing a dental emergency or have an urgent dental need, please call the standard office number, 02893 368 777, and we will explain how we can assist you.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. We look forward to meeting you soon.
